Welcome to you, Riders and spectators, to the Puremagic World of our annual Dublin Kitesurfing Competition!

 

The Battle for the bay 5th Edition is about to start, 28-29th May 2011. So you better be ready for the show! It will be more Magic than ever!!

 

The concept of the Battle is very simple: Fun, Wind...and Fun!!! The best riders in the country and also riders from around the globe, will come and compete in one of the best spot of Ireland: Dollymount!

This will be the 1st league of the IKSA (Irish Kitesurfing Association) Tour, after a long winter of hard Training.

 

Everyone is welcome to join this amazing celebration of Irish Kitesurfing and Dublin style partying, you can expect loads of surprises during this weekend! For the menu: Racing will be the highlights of this 2011 Battle It is all about a fun racing but expect loads of colors on the beach! Sure you will also enjoy the rest of the meal with: Demos on the beach, Freestyle show, Kite Introductions for the novices, Beach Party, BBQ and so much more!!

This year we are also very happy to run our first Battle for the Paddle!: Everyone heard about the trendy new sport: Standup Paddle boarding! Another fun racing will be held and we expect many of this “kind of mix between longboard and kayak stuff’’ riders fighting for the title! SUP demos will be available, join the splash!!

 

Of course, the tradition here is to associate the sports aspect during the day... with other kinds of sport during the night! So get ready for some insane partying... Are you ready to handle it? Puremagic will celebrate their 5th Anniversary and we will make sure it will be an unforgettable experience for everyone! A
